Refund Policy

This policy is a draft and may change as QualiPhone evolves. The terms in force when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.

1. Overview

QualiPhone sells used iPhones in Egypt direct to buyers. Every device we list is bought, inspected, and shipped by us. This policy explains the two windows you should know about:

• A 7-day inspection window for opening a formal dispute ("this phone doesn't match the listing"). • A 30-day money-back guarantee for QualiPhone-owned inventory — broader than the dispute window, no questions asked, applies even if the phone is exactly as described and you simply changed your mind.

2. The 7-day inspection window

Once your order is marked DELIVERED_AND_PAID, you have 7 calendar days to inspect the phone and open a formal dispute through the platform. The dispute path is for cases where the phone doesn't match the listing or has a defect you couldn't have known about before delivery — it triggers admin review, evidence collection, and a documented resolution.

The 7-day dispute window is separate from the 30-day money-back guarantee on QualiPhone-owned inventory. The dispute window is about the formal escalation flow; the money-back guarantee is the broader buyer-friendly promise on top of it. Both run from the day the courier marks the parcel delivered.

3. Refund eligibility by order status

RESERVED / PENDING_STORE_DISPATCH — You can cancel for a full refund any time before the phone leaves QualiPhone. No fee.

IN_TRANSIT_TO_BUYER — Cancellations are no longer self-serve. Contact us if there is a problem with the courier handoff.

DELIVERED_AND_PAID — Both the 7-day formal-dispute window and the 30-day money-back guarantee apply. Dispute reasons include: phone not as described, damage in transit, wrong item, IMEI mismatch. The 30-day guarantee covers everything else (changed your mind, didn't end up needing it).

4. Who pays for return shipping

If the refund is because the phone was misrepresented (wrong model, undisclosed damage, IMEI mismatch, or material divergence from the listing), QualiPhone covers return shipping in full.

If the refund is a no-questions-asked guarantee return (you simply changed your mind within the 30-day window), QualiPhone still covers return shipping inside Greater Cairo. Outside Greater Cairo, we split the courier fee 50/50 — we'll tell you the amount before you ship.

5. Escalation and disputes

Refund requests go directly to the QualiPhone team. We review the evidence (photos of packaging, the phone, and the IMEI panel) and make a binding decision under this policy, usually within 1–2 business days.

Decisions can be re-opened only if new material evidence emerges within the original inspection window.

6. What is not covered

We do not refund for: damage caused after delivery, third-party repairs, software customisations, accessories sold separately, or for cosmetic differences that fall within the condition grade we published on the listing.

7. Refund timeline

Once a refund is approved and the phone is back with QualiPhone, the refund is issued within 3 business days. The funds reach you via the same channel used at checkout (cash, card, or bank).
